Area value seemingly going down more than 7.5% per day

From now on, the area value update (-7.5% daily) will be not at 4AM French hour but 4AM local hour, depending on the country.
The gang points update will still be every 24 hours though.

Actions (rallies, rackets, deals) will reset correctly at 4 AM local hour instead of 4AM France hour.

Also, the area value update will be effective on all areas.


Do not hesitate to bring up any problem you might see.

I noticed that yesterday, it seems that the ability to racketeer or do a deal came back around 8pm EST (2am CEST in Paris). It looks like that made the game think it was a new day, and took 7.5% MORE off all the turf as well.

It seems that every time that resets, the gang turf also decreases in value.

For example, one turf WAS at 210 yesterday before this, and went down to 180 by this morning.

210 minus 7.5% = 194.25

194.25 minus 7.5% = 179.68125.... so it seems to me that the turf got hit twice overnight, and the only thing I can think of is that the sudden reset of the ability to do deals and racketeer made the game think it was a new day.

Notwithstanding that 7.5 is pretty high, I just wanted to point out that the server resets or whatever you're doing seems to take that 7.5 each time!

Maybe I'm wrong, but I wanted to point out what I noticed. Any ideas?

Yes you are probably right, we had some difficulties with the decrease of the value.

What would interest me though is : is it correct now ? Maybe check on a few squares today and tommorow morning to be sure that the problem is fixed

Sure, I'll do my best to keep an eye on the squares around my HQ and note the value at different times. I'll report back, when, maybe after midnight Paris time?

Okay, I kept an eye out last night.   First off, my local time is Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), or (UTC-4).  

The ability to deal/racketeer did come back last night sometime after 10pm local time.   It was definitely before 4am, I'm pretty sure I narrowed it down to between 10pm and midnight, because I was playing between those times.

Once I opened the app this morning at 6am, I was once again able to do deals with people that I had just a few hours ago.  I did not notice the land values, and did not notice if Rallying or anything else reset.

I'll try to remember to be looking tonight to get you better info.

What is your local time?    UTC+1?

Looks like you were watching last night, but I just wanted to report what I saw, since I was trying to watch for this while out playing last night.   Once again, this is all in my local time (EDT; UTC-4):

Around 10:15pm (Thursday 17 July), I noticed that deals and racketeering had reset and I was able to make a deal with a gang member.  I checked the app again st 5:00am (Friday 18 July), and it had not reset again.   So, at least from what I can tell...    The "new day?" starts around 10pm locally.   Nothing happened today once it crossed 4am here.

PS - Also, the value of the turf still seems to be going down at a much faster rate than 7.5% per day... even in places where I do "business" missions.

There was no change here at 4am local time... but it did reset at what I think is 4am your time.

They were also problem yesterday sorry !!

This is a bit off-topic, but I noticed past two days my rally did not reset.
