Username change

I think that after playing the game for 1 week (7 days) you should get a free name change. Hear me out, players might join the game not expecting much from it so put a lazy name, or even a stupid one like c**k Muncher . but then later on find themself enjoying it and wish to have a real name, but oh no, they will loose their points if they make a new account. Solution: free name change after a week. (just the one, not one every week).

You could further this by allowing a name change after your free one for a price of like 50, or 100 gold bars.

i like the having to pay 50 gold bars for it, i agree it should be a thing... just not free :p... gotta give Nic and his buddy's some beer money.

I disagree. They will get money from player that like to play and misuse of the free name again plus I bet they just enjoy making it and the money is more a bonus not a must.
The first one should always be a freebie or players that either make mistakes or have name issues are out of 50-100 gold before there even playing properly.

They will be a username change option in a few weeks.

First change would be free (for example if you chose a silly username, or put your email instead of your username etc.), and the other ones 250 gold bars

I started one not knowing somebody already did. So I deleted mine and brought my ideas here.


People should be able to change their name for a price but only once or twice.
There should be some kind of confirmation before the change and remind them they can only do it 1 or 2 more times.
But the most important part to me is that all previous names should be listed in the persons profile.
People shouldn't be able to hide their actions by simply changing their name.
Their reputation should be able to follow them.

Disagree with once or twice. After the free one the rest should be unlimited. But i do like your idea on previous names. Like on steam there should be an option in a players profile "show aliases".

if unlimited I think the price should increase...
1st time 50 gold
2nd time 100 gold
3rd time 150 gold
etc.....

I don't think it's needed. The most anyone will ever change there name will probably be 2 or 3 times with gold. Therefore full 250 price is a good idea, also more benefits the Devs.

The identity change could bring some interesting gameplay, with spies etc. If this turn in some bad way, maybe we will implement and augmenting price

I like Nicorr's idea better, first one free and the rest will cost 250 gold.

Maybe first one is free then 500g each after that
