Disappearing Henchman upon Mission Collect

I have noticed that when you have a surplus of men and you complete a mission your henchman total drops to the maximum limit.

Example: I have 140/140 henchmen. Someone uses my sponsor code and I then have 240/140 henchmen.  If I were to complete any mission I would drop back down to 140/140 henchmen.

This has happened to me at least three times and other players have shared the same complaint.
